Our giant kites are as big as school buses - yes you read right - school buses.
We will have kites that are 90 feet long and 40 wide depending on the wind conditions.
The kites are flown by the Kansas City
Kite Club from 2:30-5:45, Saturday, August 10. Kansas City Kite Club considers
anyone who flies a kite in the area a member of the club if they desire to be. You
may already be a member, but did not know it. We promote family kite flying fun
and events. If you like kites, fly kites, make kites, or want to know more about
kites, we'll help you out. It may be a small club but the KCKC has its share of
nationally recognized kite enthusiasts as well as kite festivals that attract people
from across the nation.
